Tampomas Mountain is a small andesitic stratovolcano. The location of this mountain is in the northeast of Sumedang. You are about to visit a 1.684 m or 5.525 feet above sea level mountain. The location has five subdistricts, which are Buahdua, Conggeang, Paseh, Cimalaka, and Tangjungkerta in a 1.250-hectare area.

This mountain is the habitat for several plants and animals. Plants, such as Jamuju, Rasamala, and Saninten are growing well here. You may meet mouse deer, wild pig, and some bird species while exploring this mountain.

Travelers can go to this mountain from Bandung. You have to go to Sumedang from Bandung. Find an area known as Cibereum Wetan or East Cibereum when you arrive in Sumedang. Go to the entrance of the mountain known as Cimalaka. Some travelers also go to Tampomas Mountain through Cirebon. This mountain has a natural hot spring.

The peak of the mountain is a 1-hectare area. Travelers can enjoy the stunning scenery of Sumedang from the peak of the mountain. There are three routes to go to the peak. It is better to use a professional guide to help you choose the best route. As a result, you can achieve the peak safely and enjoy it maximally.
